I don't have tv service anymore but I check the website all the time to find out as much as I can. I loved watching the show. Your free dvd's and info guides really are great to see. I am unable to get out right now but am planning my return to traveling the great state based on all the info I learn from your show. All the little out of the way places. LOVE MICHIGAN.

We spend a lot of time in Roscommon County, mostly camping and exploring state land. But your program has showed us some places we did not know about. The Marguerite Gahagan Nature Preserve is one we will be visiting next year. The CCC camp we visited years ago and would like to see again. We love to discover Michigan and your program is opening our eyes out our own back door. Thank you. D&R

It was a pleasant surprise to see a show about one of Michigan's oldest cities that doesnt get much exposure. My grandparents retired there years
ago and I loved going to visit them and swimming in Houghton Lake.

I watched the Oscoda episode and enjoyed it as always.  This new show displayed one of my favorite attractions in Oscoda: The Lumberman's Monument.  I liked the idea of bringing your own lunch and cooking it there, like you did.

Excellent.  I wish I had seen it early enough in the year so I could have gone.  It is on our agenda for next year.

The show was educational, I've been to a few of these locations but have never hiked the trails. This show just gave me a little more motivation to get out there.

I thought this weeks show on Oscoda and the AuSable River was great. We had company here from Anchorage AK. this summer, took them on a tour of the river and they loved the area.

Watched the show today and enjoyed it.  It does not seem like the sunrise side of the state gets the attention the other side of the state gets.  It was nice to see the beautiful beach and foliage.

I thought this show was awesome. I especially liked it because you showed a dog on the beach. And he was having fun. We're retired and visited your area a few years ago with our two Aussies. It was very memorable and we plan to go back. Our dogs are no longer with us but we sure have some great memories. We love that particular area.

I am constantly reminded of the beauty and splendor we have so available in our great state. Thank you for bringing this beauty to the television and
making others aware of the wonders the State of Michigan contains. I visited the historic town of Fayette this past summer, your show just makes me want to go back, and part of me wishes I never had to leave at all.

Being from southwest Michigan, I've never gotten up to the northeast part of our state. We tend to go up along Lake Michigan. Having done the "west side" thing my whole life, this episode showed me how many new home-state adventures await me now that I'm retired. Thanks for the eye opener!

I thought it was very informative. The fall canoe trip down the river looked very enjoyable and relaxing. Possibly taking a trip in the river boat also.
Ps. Keep up the good work

Unfortunately, I was not able to view this past weeks show, but I wanted to touch base with you to let you know,  wife and I and another couple had the chance to view fall color in UP last weekend.  We visited Fayette(awesome), Manistique, Indian Lake, Palms Book Park, Seney Wildlife Refuge (what a treat, can't wait till next Summer to go back), Tahquamenon, and the Soo locks, had a great time and color was magnificent! Then returned home via the East side of MI down 23. Thanks for all the great ideas and destinations.  Keep up the good work.

An excellent and well-rounded episode on our little hidden gem of a village. It's the best kept secret in the thumb. Pt. Sanilac has been the site of my second home since I was five. Sadly though, when I called my parents, who live in Pt. Sanilac, to tell them to turn on the show we were disappointed to learn that the local PBS station was not broadcasting the episode. From what I can tell, Comcast, the largest provider in the area, ran something different.

As your show depicted, Pt. Sanilac has so much to offer. In fact, we love it so much my husband and I have since built our retirement home there and this past spring have started a small farm, Barkshanty Hops, LLC, cultivating and growing organic hops to sell commercially to local micro-breweries and home brewers.

Hopefully, the alternate show times listed for future dates will be picked up by the local broadcast provider, and the community of Pt. Sanilac can bask in the glow you've perfectly portrayed of our town. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Anne Hasenbusch

We would like to take our motorhome and camp at the port cities shown on the program. We thought the program was excellent. The program we saw was the port cities and parks of Sanilac County.

Very interesting - loved it. I've lived in Northern Michigan all my life. With the economy the way it is, my vacations are spent close to home.
